Don’t get caught out when issuing Service Charge Demands and Ground Rent Notices

Did you know that if Service Charge Demands are not issued correctly with supporting documentation, in accordance with the lease and the Landlord and Tenant Act 1987, lessees DO NOT have to pay their service charges?
The same applies to issuing ground rent notices, if the notice is not issued in accordance to the lease and the Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act 2002, Section 166, lessees are entitled to withhold payment.

Hammond Properties are able to offer management services from as little as £15 a month per flat. Not only does this ensure that all service charge demands and ground rent notices are issued correctly, but it will also ensure that your building is maintained to a high standard and provides Directors with peace of mind that their block is compliant with health and safety legislation.

We would be delighted to provide a FREE thirty minute consultation to discuss how we can assist with your block management needs.
